Introduction
Vibe Note ("the App") is developed by Brahim Bidi. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.
Data Collection
Vibe Note does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data to our servers. The App operates entirely on your device (offline-first).
- All prompts, settings, and usage history are stored locally on your device using SQLite.
- No user accounts or registration is required.
- No analytics, tracking, or telemetry data is collected.
- No advertising SDKs are included.
AI Provider Integration
The App allows you to optionally connect to third-party AI providers:
- Google Gemini (generativelanguage.googleapis.com)
- OpenAI (api.openai.com)
- OpenRouter (openrouter.ai)
When you configure and use an AI provider:
- Your API keys are stored securely on your device using encrypted storage (expo-secure-store).
- Prompt content is sent directly from your device to the selected AI provider's API. Vibe Note does not route or store this traffic.
- Please refer to each provider's own privacy policy for how they handle your data.
Permissions
The App requests the following permissions:
- Storage access: To import/export prompt backup files from your device.
No other permissions (camera, microphone, location, contacts, etc.) are requested or used.
Data Export & Sharing
You can export your prompts as .vibe or .json files. These files are created locally and shared only when you explicitly choose to share them via your device's share functionality.
Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Since no data is collected from any user, this policy applies universally.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
